Fire Rips Through Tottenham Terrace: Two Men Hospitalised with Smoke Inhalation
Flames Damage First Floor and Staircase
A blaze tore through part of a terraced house’s first floor, also badly damaging the ground floor and stairs. Two men managed to escape before firefighters arrived.
Rapid Response from Four Fire Engines
The London Fire Brigade was called at 1.13pm. Around 25 firefighters from Tottenham, Edmonton, Dagenham, and Hainault tackled the flames, bringing the fire under control by 2.58pm.
Victims Treated and Taken to Hospital
The two men suffered smoke inhalation and were treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
Fire Cause Under Investigation
Authorities are currently probing the cause of the fire. No further details have been released.
