Three individuals have been charged by detectives in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenager on the Grand Union towpath under Scrubs Lane. The incident, which occurred on Sunday, 25 June, resulted in the tragic death of 17-year-old Victor Lee. The charged individuals include three males aged 14, 15, and 17, who have been charged with murder and robbery.
The three suspects are scheduled to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 3 July. The charges come following a police response to reports of a male in the canal under Scrubs Lane, W10, with stab injuries. Responding officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene promptly.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, Victor Lee could not be saved, and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 18:09. A post-mortem examination conducted on Wednesday, 28 June determined that the cause of death was stab wounds.
