19-Year-Old Arrested Over Fatal Peckham Stabbing
Detectives have made a break in the tragic stabbing of Rohan Trotman in Peckham. A 19-year-old man was arrested in Kent on Thursday, July 6, on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
Stabbing Shocks Nunhead Green Community
The attack happened on Sunday, June 25, around 9:20pm at Nunhead Green near Gordon Road, SE15. Rohan Trotman, 26, was found with multiple stab wounds. A passerby rushed him to hospital, but despite desperate medical efforts, Rohan died at 9:30am the next day. His family are now being supported by specially trained officers.
Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward
Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, spoke about the heartbreak felt by Rohan’s loved ones. He called on anyone who saw something on the night of June 25 to come forward. “If you were near Nunhead Green around 9:20pm, any detail could be crucial,” he said.
