Just after midnight on Tuesday, June 28, a gang was spotted crawling under a car on Truro Road, Ramsgate. Police quickly arrived, causing the group to scatter, but their getaway vehicle didn’t get far.
High-Speed Chase Ends in Whitstable
The dodgy vehicle was tracked onto the A299 Thanet Way. When officers signalled it to stop, the driver slammed the gas and fled. The suspects ditched the car and bolted in the Whitstable area.
Two Teens Nabbed with Help from Police Dog Cody
An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of theft. They were later bailed while police continue their investigation, backed by the efforts of a police helicopter and Police Dog Cody.
