80-Year-Old Woman Pushed and Robbed in Dundee
Horror in Dundee on Saturday night as an 80-year-old woman was shoved to the ground and robbed at knifepoint. The attack happened between 10.20pm and 10.50pm at the busy junction of Lilybank Terrace and Lilybank Road.
Serious Facial Injuries and Stolen Handbag
The elderly victim suffered serious facial injuries after being pushed down. Thieves made off with her handbag, which contained a three-figure sum of money. She was rushed to Ninewells Hospital and thankfully released following treatment.
Police Hunt Two Male Teens in Dark Clothes
Detectives are on the lookout for two teenage boys in their late teens, both dressed in dark clothing. Witnesses saw them fleeing towards Broughty Ferry Road around the time of the attack.
Detective Sergeant Craig Kelly said: “This lady was robbed and left not only seriously injured but distraught by what happened. We are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who knows who the youths are and where they might be.”
