The 18-year-old was hurt in Romford yesterday afternoon (January 18).
Officers responded to South Street, near Romford Station, at 4:14 p.m. yesterday. They discovered the young man with a slash wound on his back.
The man’s injuries were not life-threatening. They are now asking witnesses to come forward to assist them with their investigation.
The appeal is being made by officers from the Havering area “We are appealing for witnesses to the #Romford assault,” it said. On Wednesday, police were called to South Street at 4.414pm.
“An 18-year-old man was discovered with a slash wound on his back. Fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening. Please call 101 and reference CAD 4523/18Jan.”
