Sussex Police are investigating a report of a boy being approached in Nightingale Close, Crawley, at about 5pm on Monday, January 23. He had been walking to his home address when he was approached by a man who got out of a white van and spoke to him.
“The motive for the interaction is not known at this stage, but the boy was not harmed and is being supported by our officers.
“Officers are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances and will be conducting proactive patrols in the area for reassurance.”
