Boy Approached by Stranger in Crawley: Sussex Police Launch Investigation

Sussex Police are probing a disturbing report from Crawley. At around 5pm on Monday, January 23, a young boy was approached by a man who stepped out of a white van on Nightingale Close. The boy was walking home when the stranger spoke to him.

Boy Safe but Officers Stay on Alert

Police say the reason behind the approach is unknown, but thankfully the boy was not harmed. He is being supported by our officers,” a Sussex Police spokesperson confirmed.

Detectives are piecing together the details and will step up patrols in the area to keep residents on guard.
