Woman Dies After Cardiac Arrest in Harwich – Man Arrested
Emergency crews rushed to Norway Crescent in Harwich on Monday evening after reports of a woman in cardiac arrest. The woman, in her late 30s, was quickly rushed to hospital but, tragically, died the following day on 23 February.
Ongoing Probe into Sudden Death
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the unexpected death. Detective Inspector Kev Hughes from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate expressed sympathy, saying:
“I would like to extend my condolences to this woman’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
He added: “We continue to investigate what has happened, carrying out enquiries with local residents and medical professionals to provide answers to her family.”
Man Arrested and on Bail
A man has been arrested in connection with the case and is currently on bail. Police urged the public to avoid speculation until all facts are clear.
