While roads policing unit (RPU) officers tackle these crimes daily, Project Zero ramps up the pressure. They zero in on speeders, drink and drug drivers, phone users behind the wheel, seatbelt skippers, and careless motorists.

- A van towing a trailer was stopped with a perished tyre and damaged cables – the driver reported.
- One motorist caught driving without a registration plate.
- Multiple offenders snared for not wearing seatbelts.

Crash on Rowden Hill Shakes the Scene
Officers responded to a collision where a car flipped onto its side at a mini roundabout on Rowden Hill just before midday. Thankfully, Project Zero was on hand to deal with the aftermath.
