Three Teens Arrested After Shocking Restaurant Brawl in Bexhill
Three teenagers were hauled in by police following a tense showdown at a restaurant on Devonshire Road, Bexhill, Monday night. Officers were called around 6.40pm after reports emerged of a group of youths threatening a boy inside the eatery.
Police Nab Suspects on Nearby Seafront
By the time officers arrived, the gang had scattered. But a search of the nearby seafront turned up several suspects. A 16-year-old local lad was arrested on a string of charges including affray, making threats to kill, attempted robbery, cannabis possession, and involvement in supply of Class B drugs.
Two 14-year-old boys from Bexhill were also detained, suspected of affray, attempted robbery, and grievous bodily harm without intent linked to a separate incident.
Community on Edge as Police Crack Down
All three teens are now on conditional bail as police dig deeper. Inspector Olivia Carroll spoke out about the community’s growing unease.
“The location and timing of this incident caused real concern. I’d like to commend our officers for their swift action, which led to the quick arrest of several suspects,” she said.
Enquiries continue to track down others who may be involved.
