Pub Brawl Madness: Man Spits in Woman’s Face Despite Restraining Order

Paul Stanford, 46, made a scene at the Station Tavern in Cambridge on February 3rd. Despite a restraining order barring him from contacting a woman he spotted in the pub, he started an argument and shockingly spat in her face.

Violence Erupts Outside Pub

Enraged after the spat, Stanford stormed out and vented his anger on nearby plant pots. Not done yet, he then punched a man in the face in a nearby car park after being asked if he was alright.

Chaos Continues at Nearby Hotel

Returning briefly to the pub, Stanford soon headed to a nearby hotel where he knocked cups and glasses off a table. He then launched another unprovoked assault, punching a different man in the face. The victim fought back, managing to restrain Stanford until security arrived.

Police Encounter Turns Ugly

When police showed up, Stanford racially abused an officer and threatened him. During the investigation, his ex-partner revealed he also punched her on December 26 – another violation of the restraining order.
