Drug Dealer Jailed for Over Two Years in Oxford Crackdown
James O’Loughlin, 46, from Greenfinch Close, Oxford, was sentenced to two and a half years in prison last Wednesday (3 May). He pleaded guilty to three counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, including heroin, crack cocaine, and cocaine at Oxford Crown Court.
Police Raid Uncovers Major Drug Haul
On 28 February, officers executed a Section 23 warrant at O’Loughlin’s home. Inside, they seized a large stash of white and brown powder, drug scales, and other evidence linked to drug dealing. The bust dealt a severe blow to local supply networks.
Police Warn Dealers: Oxford Won’t Tolerate Drugs
“I hope this investigation serves as a clear warning to anyone looking to peddle drugs in Oxford,” said a spokesperson from Oxford police station. “We work tirelessly to catch these criminals and bring them before the courts.”
The police urged residents to stay vigilant and report any drug-related activity by calling 101 or making an online report. They emphasised a close working relationship with the public to keep communities safe and drug-free.
