Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Greater Manchester Collision
Police in Greater Manchester are hunting witnesses after a brutal hit-and-run on Rochdale Road late last night left a pedestrian with life-changing injuries.
The crash happened around 9.25pm when a car smashed into the victim before speeding off. But cops were quick to track down the vehicle nearby and arrest a 34-year-old man.
Driver Arrested for Dangerous Driving
The suspect is now in custody, helping police with their probe into the serious injury collision. Officers say the driver’s initial refusal to stop worsened the chaos.
Police Urge Witnesses and Dashcam Owners to Speak Up
The Greater Manchester Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit wants anyone who saw the crash or caught it on dash-cam to come forward.
