Police have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak with in connection to a distressing incident in which a woman was sexually assaulted while walking along a bridleway.
According to the victim, a woman in her twenties, she was inappropriately touched by the suspects as they rode by on bicycles. The incident occurred on Littlewood Lane on Sunday, September 10, shortly after 15.30. The suspects were heading towards Mansfield Woodhouse at the time.
Nottinghamshire Police are urging the individuals depicted in the released CCTV images to come forward and cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
PC Richard Cutt, from Nottinghamshire Police, expressed concern for the victim and emphasised the gravity of such behaviour. He stated, “This was an upsetting experience for the victim who was alone at the time of the incident. This kind of behaviour is absolutely unacceptable, and I am determined to apprehend those responsible.”
Law enforcement officials are requesting anyone with information related to the incident to contact them at 101, quoting incident number 494 of September 10th, 2023.
