Elderly Woman Found Dead in Tolworth, Man Arrested
Police rushed to a Tolworth home on Raebun Avenue at 9.30am last Friday, 19 July, after an elderly woman was found unresponsive.
The woman, in her 80s, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Suspected Murder Investigation Underway
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command, led by DCI Brian Howie, have launched a full investigation. Officers remain at the scene carrying out further enquiries.
A man in his 80s, known to the victim, was arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene and is currently in custody.
