Masked Thugs Snatch Rolex in Shocking NW3 Street Grab
Two brazen muggers struck in Frognal Way, NW3, on Wednesday evening, snatching a luxury Rolex from a man enjoying a night out with his wife.
Victim Attacked from Behind in Horror Struggle
Police were called at 6.59pm on 13 September after the couple were ambushed by two men running up from behind. In a furious scuffle, the victim – a man in his 50s – was pulled to the ground as the attackers ripped the black-and-gold Rolex Yacht Master with a black rubber strap from his wrist.
The suspects then fled towards Frognal Road, leaving the stunned couple shaken but thankfully unharmed.
Police Hunt Rolex Thieves – Public’s Help Urged
A Good Samaritan who rushed to help alerted the police, but officers were unable to find the culprits despite a search of the area.
Sergeant Max Pennington of Camden Police said: “The man and his wife were on their way home after enjoying a night out when this horrible incident happened. I’m keen to hear from anyone who can identify the two men. I also want to hear from any jewellers or pawnbrokers who might have been offered the watch for sale.”
Police have released images of the suspects and want anyone with information to call 101 or message @MetCC quoting reference CAD 7126/13 Sept.
