Investigation Underway as Police Hunt Vandals
PC Louis Blackburne-Maze, leading the probe, said: “Everyone has the right to protest and to have their voice heard, but when that crosses the line into criminality, as it did in this incident, we will take action.”
He added: “Elected representatives have an important role to play and they expect to be held to account, but that should not involve feeling unsafe. Neither they nor their staff should face targeted attacks and intimidation.”
Police have carefully reviewed local CCTV and identified three men they want to speak to. PC Blackburne-Maze urged witnesses: “If you recognise these suspects, please come forward.”
