In a significant development, detectives probing the murder of Deavon Harrison, a father-of-seven shot dead in Wolverhampton, have apprehended two teenagers overnight. The boys, aged 19 and 16, were taken into custody in the city and are set to be questioned on suspicion of murder.
Deavon Harrison, 46, was discovered seriously injured at a residence on Dunstall Hill around 12:50am on December 30. Tragically, despite efforts, he could not be saved, and a post-mortem revealed he succumbed to a gunshot wound to the chest.
A woman has already been charged with Deavon’s murder, indicating progress in the investigation. Detective Chief Inspector Laura Harrison stated, “We are making good progress with our investigation and are continuing to support Deavon’s family.
