Police Pursuit in Hendon Leads to Pedestrian Collision and Arrests

On Thursday, January 25, around 3.05pm an incident unfolded in the vicinity of Church Road, Hendon NW4, as police attempted to stop a vehicle.

When signalled to halt by the police, the vehicle failed to comply, initiating a pursuit. Unfortunately, during this pursuit, the vehicle collided with two female pedestrians.

Both pedestrians received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, their injuries are reported as not life-threatening, providing some relief amid the unsettling events.

At the scene of the collision, Police officers from the Met Police swiftly took action, arresting two males on suspicion of dangerous driving.

In response to this incident, road closures have been implemented in the affected area, contributing to ongoing traffic diversions.
