Three individuals have been arrested after part of the A20 Maidstone-bound road was temporarily closed due to a reported hit-and-run incident. The closure occurred at the Larkfield junction with Lunsford Lane and Winterfield Lane.
Kent Police responded to the incident after receiving a call at 8:20 am regarding a collision involving two vehicles on Lunsford Lane in Larkfield. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.
According to a police spokesperson, the occupants of one of the vehicles involved in the collision fled the scene following the incident. Subsequently, law enforcement officers conducted an investigation that led to the apprehension of a man and two women at a nearby property. All three individuals have been taken into custody.
