The incident unfolded on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, around 6:15 AM, when authorities responded to a report of a lit firework being posted through the letterbox of a property located in Adelaide Road. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, although the firework caused damage to the carpet inside the property.
