Firefighters were scrambled to a roaring static caravan fire on Matts Hill Road, Hartlip, just after 7:50 PM on Monday, 26th February 2024. Two fire engines stormed the scene, joined by UK Power Networks, Kent Police, and the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb), all racing to tackle the inferno.

Fire crews arrived to find the caravan’s bedroom area fully ablaze. Clad in breathing apparatus, they launched a fierce attack using high-pressure hose reel jets and covering jets, dousing the flames and preventing further destruction.

No Injuries But Cause Remains a Mystery

Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the dramatic blaze. However, the cause is still unknown as fire investigators dig into what sparked the blaze.
