Sussex Police Seek Public Help Regarding St Wilfrid’s School Offences

A man in his 30s has been hospitalized after being stabbed during a fight near the Duchess of Kent pub in Sussex Road, Erith, at 9:55 pm on March 16.

Upon receiving reports of the altercation, officers and crews from the London Ambulance Service swiftly responded to the scene. The injured man was found and subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment. While his condition is assessed as not life-threatening, it is potentially life-changing.

The Duchess of Kent confirmed via its Facebook page that the injured man sought refuge in the pub following the incident. It expressed gratitude to those who assisted, emphasizing that neither the pub nor its patrons were involved in the altercation. The pub’s open door at the time may have mitigated the severity of the incident.

The London Ambulance Service confirmed their response to the stabbing incident, mentioning that they dispatched multiple resources to the scene. They treated the injured man before transferring him to a London Major Trauma Centre for further medical attention.

The Duchess of Kent reiterated its support for the emergency services and expressed hope for a safer future. They requested the shared information to clarify the situation and preserve their reputation.

As investigations continue, authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could assist in their inquiries.
