As the weekend approaches, commuters and travellers across London are advised to stay informed about planned closures and disruptions on the TfL network. To ensure a smooth journey, it’s essential to be aware of any scheduled maintenance or service changes that may affect your travel plans.

Here’s a breakdown of the planned closures and disruptions on the London Underground, Overground, and Elizabeth Line for the upcoming weekend:

Friday, May 17:

  • London Overground: From Monday, May 13, to Thursday, May 16, after 23:30 each evening, there will be no southbound service from Sydenham to West Croydon.
  • Waterloo & City Line: Service operates from Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 12:30 am only. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays, and public/bank holidays.

Saturday, May 18:

  • London Overground: On Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19, there will be no service between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town / Cheshunt. Passengers are advised to use the London Underground and London Buses connections between Liverpool Street and Seven Sisters. Clapton station should be used for Rectory Road and Stoke Newington.
  • Piccadilly Line: There will be no service between Acton Town and Uxbridge on Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19. Passengers are advised to use Metropolitan line services between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.

Sunday, May 19:

  • Elizabeth Line: On Sunday, May 19, from 00:40 until 07:40, there will be no service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway. The last Sunday morning train at 00:07 from Heathrow Terminal 5 will terminate at Ealing Broadway.
  • London Overground: Similar to Saturday, May 18, there will be no service between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town / Cheshunt on Sunday, May 19. Passengers are advised to use London Underground and London Buses connections between Liverpool Street and Seven Sisters.
