Fatal Crash on A16 Near Pinchbeck Claims Two Lives

Tragedy hit the A16 in Lincolnshire in the early hours today when a multi-vehicle crash left two dead and two seriously injured. Emergency crews rushed to the scene after reports came in at 12:31am.

Deadly Collision Involving Toyota, Vauxhall, and Volvo Lorry

The smash happened opposite Pinchbeck near West Marsh Road and the B1180 roundabout. The wreck involved a black Toyota Auris, a white Volvo lorry, and a black Vauxhall Meriva.

Victims and Injuries

  • Fatalities:
    • The Toyota Auris driver, a man in his 50s, died at the scene.
    • The Vauxhall Meriva driver, a woman in her 30s, also lost her life.
  • Injuries:
    • A female passenger in the Toyota, also in her 50s, suffered serious injuries and is being treated at a local hospital.
    • Two young girls in the Vauxhall were hurt: one seriously injured, the other with minor injuries. Both were taken to hospital.
    • The Volvo lorry driver, a man in his 30s, escaped with minor injuries.

Investigation Underway, Road Closures in Place
