Cash Machine Smash-Up in Leicester!
Police are hunting for leads after thugs attacked an ATM on Sturdee Road in Leicester in the dead of night. The raid happened just before 4am, with crooks smashing the machine and forcing their way into the premises.
ATM Wrecked, Cash Stolen
At 03:54, cops were called to the scene where they found the cash machine outside the premises badly damaged. A door was also targeted during the botched break-in. Early investigations reveal an undisclosed sum of money was ripped off.
Detectives Beg for Tips and Footage
Detective Sergeant Dan Lester is pleading with locals to help crack the case. He said:
“We’ve been working hard to piece together what happened here. If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the early hours, please get in touch. Your tip could make all the difference. Also, check your CCTV, dashcams or doorbell cams. Any footage could be vital.”
