Two Teens Die in Horror Crash Near Penkridge

Staffordshire Police are probing a devastating crash that claimed the lives of two teenagers near Penkridge late on Saturday, 25 May.

Tragedy on Cannock Road

Police were alerted by West Midlands Ambulance just before midnight to a single-vehicle smash involving four people on Cannock Road. Officers arrived quickly at the grim scene.

Two Dead, Two Critically Injured

Despite frantic lifesaving efforts, the driver—a 18-year-old male—and his front-seat passenger, 17, were pronounced dead at the crash site. Two 17-year-old female passengers suffered serious injuries and were rushed to hospital.

Investigation Underway

Sergeant Richard Moors from the Collision Investigation Unit said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the young people who have tragically lost their lives and those who have suffered injuries.”

He added that specialist officers are supporting the families and urged respect for their privacy. A full investigation is ongoing to determine what caused the horrific collision.
