Man in Critical Condition After Woolwich Shooting – UKNIP

A man remains in critical condition after being shot in Woolwich late Monday night.

Police and armed officers responded to Granby House in Woolwich around 10:35pm on Monday, June 10, following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, no victim was found at the scene. However, police were later informed that a man in his 20s had arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound.

As of today, authorities have confirmed that the man is still in critical condition.

A crime scene was established in the vicinity of Granby House, and police are continuing their investigations. No arrests have been made.

The Metropolitan Police have urged anyone with information to come forward and assist with their inquiries.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 22:35hrs on Monday, 10 June to reports of a firearm discharge in the vicinity of Granby House, SE18. Officers, including armed officers, attended the scene but no victim could be located. Police were subsequently informed that a man, aged in his 20s, had attended a hospital suffering a gunshot injury. He remains in hospital in a critical condition. A crime scene remains in place at the location. No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD 7941/10Jun.”
