Two Injured in Crash Near Blackwall Tunnel
Two people were rushed to hospital after a collision near the Blackwall Tunnel yesterday afternoon. The smash happened just after 2 PM at the busy junction of Tunnel Avenue and Denham Street.
Emergency Crews Race to Scene
Paramedics and an incident response officer arrived within six minutes of the 999 call. They treated the injured on-site before speeding them off to hospital. The current condition of those hurt remains unknown.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2:02 PM on Monday, 17 June, to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Tunnel Avenue and Denham Street, SE10. We sent ambulance crews and an incident response officer. Our first crews arrived within six minutes. We treated two patients at the scene before taking them both to hospital.”
