Police Investigate Liquid Attack at Oxford Circus Station

Police were called to Oxford Circus London Underground station this morning following reports of a liquid substance being thrown at a person.

The incident occurred at around 11:30 am on the 4th July 2024.

Officers quickly attended the scene, but the victim declined hospital treatment.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and police are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with information to come forward.

A police spokesperson said, “We were called to Oxford Circus LU station at around 11:30 am today (Thursday, July 4) following reports of a liquid substance being thrown at a person. Officers attended, and the victim declined hospital treatment. Enquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
