Sussex Police are hunting a man who threatened a shop worker at knifepoint during a robbery at East Grinstead Food and Wine on London Road. The shocking drama unfolded just before 9am on Saturday, 27 July.

Thief Flees with Tobacco and Booze

The suspect stormed into the store, brandished a knife, and forced the staff member to hand over a small stash of tobacco and alcohol. Thankfully, the shopkeeper was not physically harmed but was left visibly shaken by the ordeal.

Police Seek Crucial Witness Information

Officers are keen to speak with anyone who saw the robbery or might hold key details about the suspect. No images of the man are currently available, but authorities are urging the public to step up and help crack the case.
