Shoppers beware! Home Bargains has launched an emergency recall on eight products amid serious safety concerns. The discount giant warns customers to stop using these items immediately and return them for a full refund. The recall covers everything from children’s toys to table salt and favourite sweets – all flagged as potential hazards.
What’s Being Recalled and Why?
- Revels, 205g Slimpouch: Small Bits of Rubber Found Mars Wrigley UK is recalling batches 344G2SLO00 (BB 27/10/2024) and 345B1SLO00 (BB 03/11/2024) due to tiny rubber pieces in the sweets. Customers are warned: “Do not eat them.”
- My First Drop & Roll Tower: Choking Hazard This baby toy has balls smaller than safety standards, risking choking if bitten or swallowed. Parents are urged to ditch the toy straight away.
- Dri-Pak Table Salt, 750g: Possible Plastic Contamination Batches 3205 and 3206 could contain small plastic fragments, posing a risk if consumed.
- Chocomel, 300ml: Allergy Threat Some bottles (BB 07/11/2023 and 29/11/2023) don’t declare milk allergens in English, risking allergic reactions for sensitive customers.
- Optivive Allergy Eye Mist, 10ml: Potential Contamination With expiry dates 02/2026 and 04/2026, these eye mists may be contaminated. Stop use immediately.
