Police are appealing for information after recovering an electric bike in Southsea during the early hours of Monday, 2 September. Officers were called to reports of suspicious behaviour on Outram Road at approximately 12:25 am.
Upon attending the scene, officers found and recovered the electric bike on nearby Albert Road. Two teenage boys from Portsmouth were subsequently arrested in connection with the incident.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft of a pedal cycle and has been released under investigation as enquiries continue. A 15-year-old boy was also arrested, on suspicion of theft of a pedal cycle and going equipped for theft of a motor vehicle. He has been released from bail, pending further enquiries.
