Further Charges Following Murder of 15-Year-Old Daejaun Campbell in Woolwich

Detectives investigating the murder of 15-year-old Daejaun Campbell in Woolwich have charged two additional individuals in connection with the fatal incident.

Marko Balaz, 18, of uk/news/uk/breaking/first-picture-of-second-murder-victim-charlie-bartolo-who-was-murdered-on-sewell-road-in-abbeywood-on-saturday-evening/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpil-monitor-id="70276">Sewell Road, SE2, appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, September 28, charged with murder. He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, October 1.

In addition, a 17-year-old male, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear in custody at Bromley Youth Court on Monday, September 30, also charged with murder. The 17-year-old was arrested on Friday, September 27, and charged the following day.

Previously, another suspect, Jacob Losiewicz, 18, of Church Manor Way, Abbey Wood, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court, charged with murder. He was also remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, September 30.

The investigation was launched after police were called at approximately 18:35 hrs on Sunday, September 22, following reports of a disturbance on Eglinton Road, SE18. Officers arrived at the scene and found Daejaun Campbell suffering from a stab injury. Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics, Daejaun tragically died shortly afterwards.

Daejaun’s family has been informed of these developments, and officers continue to support them through this difficult time.

The police investigation is ongoing, and detectives are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward. The authorities remain committed to seeking justice for Daejaun and ensuring those responsible are held accountable.
