Two More Charged Over Teen’s Murder in Woolwich
Detectives have charged two more suspects in the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Daejaun Campbell in Woolwich.
Suspects Face Court Over Fatal Attack
- Marko Balaz, 18, from Sewell Road, SE2, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on September 28. He’s charged with murder and remanded in custody, set to appear at the Old Bailey on October 1.
- A 17-year-old male youth, who cannot be named, will appear at Bromley Youth Court on September 30. He was arrested on September 27 and charged the next day.
- Earlier, Jacob Losiewicz, 18, of Abbey Wood, also charged with murder, was remanded in custody and will face the Old Bailey on September 30.
Tragic Night of Violence on Eglinton Road
Officers rushed to Eglinton Road, SE18, at around 6.35pm on Sunday, September 22 following reports of a disturbance. There, they found Daejaun suffering from stab wounds. Despite desperate efforts by police and paramedics, the teenager died at the scene.
Daejaun’s family have been informed and continue to receive support from officers.
Police Press for Information, Vow Justice
The investigation is ongoing as detectives urge anyone with details to come forward. Authorities remain determined to bring all those responsible for Daejaun’s death to justice.
