Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for public assistance in identifying a man in connection with a sexual assault on a teenage girl in south Bristol.
The incident occurred on Thursday, August 29, at approximately 3:00 p.m.
The victim was walking along North Street, Dean Lane, and Alpha Road when an unknown man approached her. Upon stopping, the man reportedly made a sexualised comment towards the teenager and inappropriately touched her.
According to police reports, the suspect continued along Alpha Road before fleeing via Southville Place and St Johns Road after being pursued by a member of the public.
Authorities have released two images of a man they wish to speak to regarding the incident. He is described as white, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with light-coloured hair. In the images, he is seen wearing round sunglasses, a dark T-shirt, jeans, and brown boots, and carrying a white tote bag.
Police are also keen to hear from anyone who may have experienced a similar incident in the area.
