Emergency services were called at 1:30pm today to a fire at a residential property on Chingford Road, E17. Officers from the Metropolitan Police, alongside the London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance, and the London Fire Brigade, responded to the incident.
A man was taken to hospital with injuries that are reported to be non-life-threatening and non-life-changing. Authorities have not released further details on his condition.

Road closures are currently in place as emergency crews work to secure the area. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and officers are working alongside the fire brigade to determine the circumstances surrounding the blaze.
