“Police were called at 13:30hrs to reports of a fire at a residential property in Chingford Road, E17. Officers, the London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance, and London Fire Brigade attended. A man has been taken to hospital with injuries deemed not to be life-threatening or life-changing. Road closures are in place. The cause of the fire is under investigation,” a Metropolitan Police spokesman said.
