At approximately 9:15 pm on Monday, 11 November, police attempted to stop a vehicle in Park View Road, Haringey. The driver failed to comply, prompting officers to initiate a pursuit.
The chase ended when the suspect vehicle collided with a motorcyclist and a parked car before coming to a stop on Seymour Avenue, N17. Both the driver and a passenger then fled on foot but were quickly detained by police.
Two 17-year-old boys were arrested following the incident. The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of motor vehicle theft and dangerous driving. The passenger was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug and burglary, an offence he was already wanted for.
Both teens are being held at a north London police station as enquiries continue.
