Police Pursuit Sparks Chaos on Haringey Streets
At around 9:15pm on Monday, November 11, officers tried to pull over a car on Park View Road, Haringey. The driver slammed the brakes on rules and sped off, sparking a dramatic police chase.
Crash Brings Chase to a Screeching Halt
The suspect’s joyride ended abruptly on Seymour Avenue, N17, where the vehicle smashed into a motorcyclist and a parked car. Both the driver and a passenger jumped out and bolted, but police were quick to catch up and detain them.
Two Teens Nabbed – With a Criminal Past
- The driver, just 17, faces charges of motor vehicle theft and dangerous driving.
- The passenger, also 17, was arrested for possession of a class B drug and burglary – an offence he was already wanted for.
Both youngsters are now locked up at a north London police station as investigations continue.
