Whitstable Man Jailed for Cannabis Import Scheme and Drug Hoard

Felix Boo, 24, from Whitstable, has been handed a three-year prison sentence after a botched attempt to import nearly 300g of cannabis from the USA landed him in hot water.

Drugs, Cash & Bling Found in Police Raid

The drama began when Border Force stopped a package stuffed with cannabis on May 16, 2022. Police quickly zeroed in on Boo’s home, where a dramatic raid uncovered a stash of ketamine, cocaine, and more cannabis — spread between his bedroom and a garden shed.

But Boo’s stash didn’t stop there. Officers seized over £40,000 in cash plus two luxury Rolex watches worth £10,000 each. His phone revealed hundreds of messages plotting local drug deals, while financial probes exposed big cryptocurrency deals linked to his dodgy dealings.

Multiple Drug Charges and Guilty Plea

Boo faced serious charges, including:

  • Possession of Class A and B drugs with intent to supply
  • Importation of Class B drugs
  • Concealing or transferring criminal property

He pleaded guilty to all counts and was sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court on November 21, 2024.

Police Blow the Whistle on Drug Dealers

“The sale of illegal drugs all too often leads to further crime, antisocial behaviour, and misery for communities to deal with. I hope the sentence imposed on this man sends out a message to other drug dealers that police will catch up with them and jail awaits,” said investigating officer Hannah Macrow.

Clear Warning to Drug Networks in Kent

This case highlights Kent law enforcement’s crackdown on drug crime and their fierce commitment to protect communities. The collaboration between Border Force and local police proved crucial in bringing Boo to justice.

With Boo behind bars, authorities send a message loud and clear: drug dealers beware — the law is watching and ready to roll.
