Road users are advised to follow the solid square diversion symbol:
- Exit the A2 onto the A2050 (Dover Rd) towards Canterbury.
- Continue on A2050 until the junction with Upper Chantry Ln/merges with the A257. A257
- Continue to the junction with the A28 roundabout at Upper Bridge Street.
- Exit onto the A28 Canterbury Ring Rd and remain on this until the junction with the Wincheap roundabout.
- At this roundabout continue straight on into the A290 until the junction with St Peters Place and continue onto the A2050 towards the A2 at Harbledown.
