Police Appeal for Witnesses After Two Men Assaulted on A2 Near Canterbury

Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were assaulted on the London-bound carriageway of the A2, between the A2050 and A28, near the Wincheap exit.

The incident occurred between 5:00 AM and 5:40 AM on Saturday, December 14, 2024. A silver Mercedes-Benz C Class and a white SEAT were reportedly involved, and the victims were attacked on the side of the road.

Victims Hospitalised

One man was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries, while the second man is being treated at a local hospital.

Appeal for Information

Kent Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to the assault to come forward.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been travelling in the area and witnessed the incident, or has relevant dashcam footage. Any information, no matter how small, could assist our investigation.
