Triple Stabbing Shakes Marylebone’s Prestigious Portland Place
Three men were rushed to hospital after a shocking triple stabbing at a luxury property on Portland Place in Marylebone early Sunday morning.
Police and Paramedics Rush to Scene
The Metropolitan Police were called at around 7am on 23 February following reports of an assault at the posh street, home to embassies and the BBC headquarters. Emergency teams, including the London Ambulance Service, quickly arrived and found four men needing urgent medical care. Three had stab wounds. Thankfully, none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
Three Arrested – Drug Links Suspected
Officers have arrested three men in connection with the attack. One is held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession with intent to supply drugs. Another is arrested solely for GBH, while the third is suspected of drug supply offenses. Police have slapped the property with a Section 76 Closure Notice, sealing it off to protect the local community from further disruption.
“Four men were taken to hospital, three with stab wounds, none life-threatening. We made three arrests, and the property has been closed under a Section 76 Notice to ensure public safety,” confirmed a police spokesperson.
Investigation Continues Amid Unclear Motive
The motive behind the attack remains a mystery. Police have not confirmed if this is linked to gang violence or drug crime. Officers are urging witnesses to come forward with any information about suspicious activity in the area.
