Emergency services have responded to a serious incident at Blackhorse Road Station in Walthamstow (after a person was struck by a train on the Victoria Line.

 

Incident Details

The incident occurred just after 4pm on Saturday 1st March 2025 leading to an immediate emergency response from London Ambulance Service, British Transport Police (BTP), and Transport for London (TfL).

TfL confirmed that Victoria Line services were temporarily suspended in the area as paramedics and emergency crews attended the scene.

 

Disruptions on the Victoria Line

Commuters have been advised to expect significant delays while emergency responders deal with the situation. London Underground staff are assisting passengers with alternative routes and travel advice.

British Transport Police Statement

A spokesperson for British Transport Police (BTP) said:

“We were called to Blackhorse Road station following reports of a person under a train. Officers are on the scene alongside paramedics. We are working to establish the full circumstances of the incident.”
