The crash happened on Tuesday morning, March 4, at 11:38 am on Brighton Road. Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports a car had collided with a bus. The impact sent the car careering further along the road, smashing into a second vehicle.
Victims and Injuries
- The local 73-year-old male driver died at the scene despite paramedics’ efforts.
- A 63-year-old woman from Henfield, driving the second car, suffered serious injuries and was hospitalised.
- Thankfully, no bus passengers were harmed.
