Officers from the Road Crime Team spotted a vehicle tied to a string of burglaries across the West Mercia policing area. When police signalled for the driver to stop, he slammed the pedal to the metal and sped off, sparking a tense police pursuit through Selly Oak.
Crash and Foot Chase Sealed Suspect’s Fate
The chase came to a dramatic end in Cotteridge when the getaway car crashed. The suspect jumped out and tried to bolt on foot, but officers quickly closed in and arrested him before he could make a break for it.
