Knife Attack on Christmas Morning Shakes Brick Lane
Police rushed to Brick Lane, E1, just after 6:30am on Christmas Day following reports of a stabbing. London Ambulance Service also attended the scene.
Two Victims Taken to Hospital
A man and a woman, both in their 40s, were stabbed during a bust-up in nearby Code Street around 5:30am. The man suffered serious injuries but is stable, while the woman’s wounds are not life-threatening.
Two Men Arrested and Charged
Police arrested two suspects, aged 39 and 42, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and drug offences. Both have been charged with two counts of GBH and will appear at 1 Magistrates’ Court this Wednesday, December 27.
