Teen Found with Knife Wounds at Harrow on the Hill
An 18-year-old man was rushed to hospital after being found stabbed in the face and hands at Harrow on the Hill train station yesterday evening. Emergency services and police acted fast following the shocking discovery.
Swift Emergency Response and Investigation Underway
The Metropolitan Police were called at around 6pm on Friday, April 19, after reports of a stabbing. Officers arriving on the scene found the victim suffering from knife wounds. London Ambulance Service sent both an ambulance crew and an incident response officer, who provided urgent medical help before the teen was taken to hospital.
Thankfully, police confirmed the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Attack Believed to Have Happened in Nearby Park
Detectives believe the stabbing occurred in a park close to the station. Although no arrests have been made yet, officers are hunting for suspects and following leads to crack the case.
Transport Disruptions and Public Appeal for Witnesses
The assault caused a temporary disruption on the Metropolitan Line, with southbound trains bypassing Harrow on the Hill station. Services returned to normal by 7:07pm after police wrapped up their work.
Police have urged anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses should call 101 quoting reference CAD 5992/19 Apr to assist with the ongoing probe.
