Two Fire Stations Hit Overnight

Thieves targeted two fire stations in West Sussex, smashing in overnight between March 16 and 17. Partridge Green Fire Station, just south of Horsham, and Hurstpierpoint Fire Station both suffered burglaries, with crucial firefighting equipment stolen.

Police Launch Urgent Probe

A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman confirmed the break-ins, saying: “Two of our fire stations were broken into overnight, and equipment was stolen from both. The matter is now with Sussex Police.”

Sussex Police have launched an urgent investigation and are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the culprits.
