West Sussex Fire Stations Targeted in Overnight Thefts

Two fire stations in West Sussex were broken into overnight, with vital equipment stolen from their premises.

Partridge Green Fire Station, south of Horsham, and Hurstpierpoint Fire Station were both targeted between March 16 and 17, prompting an urgent police investigation.

A West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman confirmed the incidents, stating: “Two of our fire stations were broken into overnight, and equipment was stolen from both. The matter is now with Sussex Police.”

Sussex Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses or any information that may assist in identifying those responsible.
