A delivery driver was viciously stabbed and robbed in broad daylight in Greenwich, sparking a police hunt for the attackers. The shocking attack happened in a quiet residential area, leaving locals horrified.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene in Blissett Street

Police and paramedics were called just after 5:30pm on Tuesday, 25 March, following reports of a stabbing on Blissett Street, SE18. Officers found a man suffering from stab wounds, believed to be a delivery driver.

Firefighters from Greenwich Fire Station helped treat the victim before paramedics from the London Ambulance Service took over at the scene. He was then rushed to hospital. His condition remains unknown.

Parcels Stolen During Attack as Police Launch Investigation

Suspects reportedly stabbed the driver before stealing parcels from his vehicle. The violent assault has shaken the local community and raised fears among courier workers about their safety on the job.

A police cordon is still in place as forensic teams comb the scene. No arrests have been made yet, but detectives are actively investigating.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Footage

“Police were called shortly after 17:30hrs on Tuesday, 25 March to reports of a stabbing in the vicinity of Blissett Street, SE18. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man with stab injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he remains. A condition update is awaited,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said.

“A crime scene remains in place at the location. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.”
